Microsoft Surface Pro is a hair lighter, its fanless design minimizes a thin vent around the outer edge and its optional keyboard cover is available with Alcantara fabric, similar to the covering found on the new Surface Laptop. The Microsoft Surface Pro looks just like the Surface Pro 4. It even has the same, admittedly gorgeous, 12.3-inch PixelSense touchscreen with a 2,736 x 1,824-pixel resolution.

With a keen eye, one will be able to notice the key differences. For one, the magnesium aluminium alloy frame is rounded at the edges more dramatically than before. The new Microsoft Core i5 laptop comes in at the same 0.33 inches (8.4mm) of thickness with its 1.73 pounds (786g) to remain unchanged. Considering that Microsoft accomplished this while packing inside a 20% larger battery, it’s an impressive feat.
