WVA Annual Veterinary Students Scholarship Programme

The MSD Animal Health and World Veterinary Association (WVA) Veterinary Students Scholarship Programme is available for students currently enrolled and in good standing at a recognized school of veterinary medicine in their various countries.

This animal health veterinary student scholarship programme is dedicated to veterinary students from four world regions with the aim of enhancing their academic experience.

The World Veterinary Association is a federation representing more than eighty veterinary medical associations around the world. Its aim is to promote animal health and welfare and the realisation that animals and man live interconnected lives.

The World Veterinary Association envisions that collaboration between the veterinary profession and other professions can make sure that humans, animals, and the environment prosper together. The MSD Animal Health is focused on the research, development, manufacturing and marketing of animal health products.

Eligible Countries/Regions: Latin America, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Oceania
Course Level: The animal health veterinary student scholarship programme is available for students enrolled and in good standing at a recognized school of veterinary medicine in their country.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of veterinary medicine.
Scholarship Award: There are 41 scholarships of US 5000$ (of a total of $205,000).

MSD and WVA Animal Health Veterinary Students Scholarship Programme Eligibility and Requirements for Students

– Citizen of one of the countries under the grant coverage.
– Second or Third-year veterinary students (the accomplishment of first-year exams).
– Currently enrolled and in good standing at a recognized school of veterinary medicine in their country.

– The applications (in English, French and Spanish) will be reviewed by the WVA Review Committee. The announcement of the selected students will be done during the World Veterinary Association Congress i
