There are a lot of myths surrounding the disease of cancer. Cancer is caused by eating bad foods, smoking or drinking too much water, eating improper nutrition, not keeping the body properly hydrated, and even some even claim that a woman’s menstrual cycle can cause a woman to get some of the types of cancer.
You should also know that cancer is hereditary, so it is possible that if your mother or grandmother has it then you will likely get it as well. In order to understand cancer, you first need to understand how it can be found in various areas of the body.
There are some organs that may show signs of cancer, depending on the specific type of cancer that the organ may show. Some types of cancer have their roots in the digestive system, others can actually come from the bloodstream. This is why many people with cancer and other health issues will go to the doctor to find out the exact cause of the illness.
Often the doctor will also check for signs of cancer cells on biopsy. A biopsy is a procedure that uses a needle or some other instrument to remove a small amount of tissue from a part of the body where cancer is suspected. The sample can be sent to a lab for analysis.
The colon and rectum are two of the most common areas of the body where cancer is detected. One type of cancer of the colon can be found in the area under the lower belly or at the opening of the anus. A lot of doctors believe that infections that occur when you defecate or urinate can cause damage to the lining of the colon.
Another common type of cancer of the colon and rectum is adenocarcinoma. It is one of the types of colon cancer that has been diagnosed. If cancer of the colon and rectum has occurred, it is often discovered because the doctor may perform a routine physical examination and notice a small lump that could be an ovarian cyst.

Types of Cancer that affect the Digestive System
Another common type of cancer cell in the digestive system is cell carcinoma. When cancer cells start to grow inside the lining of the stomach or oesophagus, this is referred to as gastric adenocarcinoma. If you feel that you might have gastric adenocarcinoma, you should consult with your doctor as soon as possible.
Another common type of cancer is endometrial cancer. These types of cancer develop in the lining of the uterus and can cause bleeding into the vagina. Women who have these types of cancer may also have a higher chance of getting a miscarriage or a preterm delivery.
Another types of cancer that is found in the cervix is cervical cancer
These types of cancer, which is found only in women, can occur when it is pre-cancerous cells or when it develops into cancer. If cancer becomes cancerous, cancer can spread to other parts of the body, causing the cells to spread out.
One more common condition that is often found in the female reproductive system is endometrial or cervical cancer. Many doctors believe that endometrial cancer can develop when the body is releasing hormones that cause the lining of the uterus to thicken and become cancerous. This is also the case with cervical cancer.
Haemorrhoids are another common occurrence among women. This is an inflammation of the haemorrhoid glands, which are the glands located near the anus. Sometimes they are affected by excessive blood flow, which can make them swell and cause itching, pain, and bleeding.
Types of Cancer in Men
In men, prostate cancer is a common condition found in the male reproductive system. Prostate cancer can be found in the prostate gland, located at the front of the bladder. If the gland is malignant, it can cause painful symptoms, such as fever, difficulty urinating, and an abnormal urge to urinate.
Also, prostate cancer can occur in the testicles, which are located near the back of the abdomen. Men who have this type of cancer can have painful symptoms such as feeling pain in their abdomen, numbness or tingling in their lower back, painful urination, and a discharge from the penis. If the testicles are removed, there can be pain, swelling, and difficulty urinating.
Colorectal cancer is another type of cancer in men, this is a very common cancer among men in the USA. These types of cancer have affected the colon or rectum, but, it is preventable through early screening. Colorectal cancer is very treatable when caught early, but it remains the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United State with over 27,000 men dying from these types of cancer each year.
Quitting smoking, limiting consumption of red meat and alcohol, avoiding eating hot dogs, deli meats, bacon or sausage, regular exercise and controlling the weight are all ways to reduce the risk of colorectal cancer.
Lung cancer is another type of cancer that begins in the lungs and cause mainly by smoking. The lungs are 2 spongy organs in the human chest that take in oxygen when people inhale and release carbon dioxide when they exhale.
People who smoke are prone to develop lung cancer. These types of cancer can also occur in people who have never smoked. The risk of lung cancer increases with the length of time and number of cigarettes smoked by smokers. If a smoker quit smoking, even after smoking for many years, the person can significantly reduce the chances of developing lung cancer.
These types of cancer are serious skin cancer that develops in the cells that make melanin, the pigment that adds colour to the skin. Most men are twice as likely to get melanoma cancer by age 65 than women and 3 times more likely by age 80.
It is important for men to let their doctor know if they notice any changes in the size, shape, or colour of a mole or freckle, if they have any sores on their skin that don’t heal or if they develop a new mole or lump under their skin.
Screening can start with a complete skin self-exam every month, an especially important habit to maintain if they have a family history of melanoma. When melanoma is found and treated early, the cure rate is almost 100%.
Most men are 4 times more likely than women to be diagnosed with bladder cancer. While a screening test for the bladder is not yet available, research has established a connection between a sedentary lifestyle and the risk for this and other types of cancer.
According to the National Institutes of Health, over 45,000 men and 17,000 women per year are diagnosed with bladder cancer. The most common type of bladder cancer is Transitional cell carcinoma which begins in the transitional cells in the inner layer of the bladder. Transitional cells are cells that change shape without becoming damaged when the tissue is stretched.
