Big Brother Naija Season 7: Who Will Level Up the House?

Big Brother Naija is a reality TV show in Nigeria based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize and other material prizes at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted from the house by viewers who vote for their favourite housemates to remain in the big brother house.

The first season of Big Brother Naija was aired on M-Net and DStv Channel 37 from 5 March to 4 June 2006. The auditing company of Alexander-Forbes verified the voting results. During the first season of the reality TV show (#BBNaija), two new contestants were introduced on Day 23, much to the excitement of the remaining housemates.

When is Big Brother Naija 2022 Starting

Big brother Naija season 7 will feature housemates who were introduced to the show on 23rd and 24th July 2022, and they will be staying in the big brother house for 72 days. During the premiere of season 7, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the host of the show, revealed the slogan of season 7 as “Level Up.”

Khalid, a native of Plateau State who loves basketball, stated that he is a great artist and boxer. He further disclosed that he is single but not searching and doesn’t believe in love at first sight.

Khalid is ready to take it to the next level, as he promises to bring charisma and brains and be a team player in the house. However, isn’t the best cook, will he starve his Housemates?


Ilebaye, a native of Kogi State, said we should expect Gen Z drama from her. According to her, she’s a lover but not going to be a shipper.

Ilebaye isn’t here for boredom. She promises to bring all the Gen-Z energy to Biggie’s House. If it were up to her, it would be a daily party!

Beauty, who claims to be straightforward in her chat with media personality Ebuka Uchendu, revealed that she would be bringing all the realness to the show.

She also said she is an excellent cook who does not believe in love at first sight. Beauty hails from Taraba State and is a former beauty queen. She says she’s bringing high energy to the house.

Although Beauty sometimes drinks a little too much, she’s still a 10! She hopes her authenticity and her strategy to “go with the flow” will carry her to the end.


Cyph, a native of Mbaise in Imo State, said the big brother Naija fans should expect cruise and drama from him. He claimed that he loves food and believes in love at first sight. He also unveiled plans to mingle with the other housemates.


Groovy, with the actual name, Stanley Orakwe, is from Anambra State and will be bringing vibes, drama, and laughter to the house.

“I believe I’m a very creative person, I believe I have a very infectious smile. I am, not a fighter but a lover. I am single and ready to mingle,” he said.

Groovy plans to take Big Brother Naija season 7 to the next level by being as fun and entertaining as possible. He has no plans to break any of Biggie’s rules. Let’s wait to see if he sticks to his word.


Amaka hails from Anambra State. She is in the game to win the money. She is an extremist who would go hard or go home. She says she is a go-getter who goes from whatever she wants. She hopes to disappoint anyone who believes a man will win the Big Brother Naija season 7.

Amaka will be taking things to the next level by being our very own Nigerian version of Nicki Minaj. Her strengths include being original and realistic, while her weaknesses are being too emotional and impatient. Will the latter work against her?


Kess, the only married man in this season, with the full support of his wife, says he is bringing good vibes and will be leaving his marriage aside to concentrate on the game.


Daniella is a 22-year-old poet who doesn’t like drama. The twin hopes to get recognition as a poet. She is very open, sincere, a jack of all trades, and a master of some. She doesn’t entirely believe in love on love at first sight. She hails from Obudu in Cross River State.

Daniella is here to make her mark in Big Brother Naija season 7! She plans to ensure she is seen in the big brother’s house and that her presence is felt. Housemates can trust her, though, as she promises not to steal food.


Phyna says she is short-tempered. She is bringing a lot of energy, vibe, and drama. Phyna says drama for her could mean violence. She is also getting something that nobody has ever seen on the show. Phyna is not a believer in falling in love at first sight. She is from Edo State.

Phyna plans to level up Big Brother Naija season 7 by giving big brother fans the ginger and vibes. She believes Big Brother Naija fans will love her because she’s jovial, but they might find her too strict.


Bryan says he can be annoying on purpose. The big brother housemate says he is in the show to showcase all his talents. The new big brother housemate is bringing energy and drama. He is very comfortable in his skin. He loves making music.

He does not believe in love at first sight. He is a single pringle and may be ready to mingle. Vibes, enormous energy, and swag are the things that Bryann promises to bring to Big Brother Season 7. He says he’s a threat because he’s confident and ready to adapt to any situation.

Christy O

Christy O enjoys sarcasm as a way of entertaining and annoying people. She says she is all shades of fun. She can never be caught off guard. She doesn’t believe in love at first sight because she doesn’t want to ‘chop breakfast.’ She hails from Ondo State.

Christy O is ready to bring good energy, fun, and excellent vibes to the house, but watch your step because she hates liars and always tells it like it is.


Pharmsam says he is super confident with a fantastic sense of humour. He believes the platform will showcase his acting passion. The pharmacist says he is in the house to show love. He is a lover of peace and has never been a fan of crisis.

Pharmsam proclaims he has “the medicine for all madness” in this season of Big Brother Naija. He promises to be focused and entertaining in his time in the house.

Katung Aduwak was the first to get the feeling of winning the BBNaija show in 2006. Then it was presented by Olisa Adibua and Michelle Dede.

Miracle Igbokwe is the winner of BBNaija Season 3 Double Wahala. The edition was also held in South Africa with the theme Double Wahala. And really, it was a “wahala.”

Right from day one of the show, Miracle constantly desired training to become a professional and commercial pilot. Immediately after the show ended, he returned to school to study to become a professional and commercial pilot.

Mercy Eke emerged as the first female to win the Big Brother Nigeria reality competition television series in 2019. The fourth edition was held in Nigeria with a theme, ‘Pepper Dem.’

While Layton is not a controversial housemate, he seems to have gotten himself into an ‘entanglement’ – that is, with his feelings for Erica.
