Most powerful update of the Adobe Photoshop 2020 is the new Object Selection Tool and some superfluous features that can be used by photographers and artists alike to drastically cut edit times. Recently, Adobe released some powerful tools during the upgrade and launching of the Adobe Photoshop 2020 to bridge the distance between those using the Desktop/Laptop version of the Photoshop to make it easy to work on a mobile device like iPad.
There are many additional new features and tools stacked up in the Photoshop library to make the powerful editing tool work more reliably and saves you more time when you are using it and also save you more money. This super update includes seamless saving via the Cloud Transform, the Object Selection Tool properties, the flexible smart object conversion, and the new improved presets systems requirements,
Now, let’s discuss there new Adobe Photoshop 2020 Features one by one
Object Selection tool
The is the best and most powerful additional updates to the Photoshop 2020 which will enable users in identifying objects in a scene and automatically create selections. This new command allows Photoshop to analyze an image and guess at what the user wants to select. This new feature is remarkably good at its job
Selective Selections Features
This new feature is formally known as Refine Edge which can be used to incorporate a Quick Selection brush. Now, this new tool lets users make a selection around the object they want to isolate
The Enhanced Properties Panel
In the older version of Photoshop, the Properties Panel has been the go-to location for information about the current layer. But this feature has received major enhancements in the Adobe Photoshop 2020 with context-sensitive additions that depend on the layer and current tool type.
The new feature now contains Quick Actions, such as Remove Background, which uses the same Sensei technology as Select Subject to isolate objects of interest and, as the name implies, remove the background. The upgraded Property Panel is now more effective since it now provides quick access to all the most common typographic tools, both on a Character and a Paragraph level.
Customizable Warp features
The Image Warp functionality has been a useful addition to Free Transform in the earlier versions of Photoshop allowing users to use an envelope distortion to change the shape of an object. But it has always used a 3×3 grid, which could be limiting.
But with the Adobe Photoshop 2020 update, it is simply known as Warp, it starts off with just 4 control handles, one at each corner, with Bézier, handles on each to adjust the warp direction and amount.
Users can now add as many points as you they like within the warp, either by choosing them from the Options Bar at the top or simply by holding Option or Alt and clicking on the image. This will provide users with tremendous extra flexibility, allowing for the creation of complex warp effects that were not possible is the older version of Photoshop.
New Preset Panels Feature
The Adobe Photoshop 2020 new panels for Patterns, Gradients and Shapes make their storage and retrieval much more straightforward, with graphical previews that show you exactly what you’re going to get. Photoshop’s Shapes panel, in particular, provides a vastly better way of choosing shapes: dragging from the panel into the artwork will create a new vector layer containing that shape.
The Context-Aware Fill Changes
Photoshop Context-Aware Fill, formerly a menu option, got its own dialogue with the release of Photoshop CC 2019. Now the dialogue has been enhanced in Adobe Photoshop 2020 to provide an Auto sampling area, which complements the Rectangular sampling area that was previously the default behaviour.
Users can choose a Custom area if they want to paint the sampling area themselves, but in practice, the Auto-area does a reasonably good job in most situations. And because a user can choose to output the patch to a new layer, it is easy to adjust it afterwards.
Layer Comps Panel
This is Layer Comps within Smart Objects which provides a way of creating multiple versions of a piece of artwork, allowing users to move and turn off elements between different compositions. The Layer Comps have always been supported inside Smart Objects, but in order to switch between them, the user must have earlier had to open the Smart Object in a new window to make the change.
The upgrade in Adobe Photoshop 2020 makes the embedded Layer Comps shown in the Properties Panel when a Smart Object is selected, making it much easier to switch between different versions of the artwork.

The Properties panel now also allows you to access stylistic sets from those fonts that support them, with plain English descriptions of the glyphs to be changed. There was a Smart Objects in the earlier version of Photoshop that could previously be turned into regular layers only by opening the Smart Object in a new window and dragging all the layers into your document.
There is now a Convert to Layers button in the Properties Panel of new Adobe Photoshop 2020 to creates a new group containing all the layers that were in the Smart Object; the user can choose whether to retain or discard the Smart Filters and transformations that had been applied to it.
The Photoshop Brush tool has also had a minor update in the Adobe Photoshop 2020 with the ability to use the arrow keys to rotate a brush tip as you paint with it. You can now also hold the Tilde key to temporarily make the Brush tool into an Eraser.
